Concept

A fully illustrated coffee & tea themed pattern collection presented in packaging applications. This suite blends both digital and hand-drawn illustration methods. Two patterns were created using simple vector shapes in Illustrator, while the other two were hand-rendered in Procreate. Despite the mix of tools and styles, the patterns are designed to work together as a cohesive set.

Varieties of Tea Pattern

A pair of designs highlighting 16 illustrated tea components / varieties. One pattern features a structured grid layout paired with both the common and scientific names of each tea, while the other follows a flowing hexagonal arrangement without text. These patterns can be used independently or together. The main design challenge was achieving a harmonious, simplified color scheme while depicting a diverse range of ingredients.

Tools of the trade pattern

A minimal, monotone gray pattern showcasing six coffee and tea-making essentials: the moka pot, AeroPress, pour-over, French press, a tea bag, and gooseneck kettle. Illustrated in six shades, the simplified forms create a clean, charming aesthetic.

Latte Art Pattern

Titled Cup of Joy, this cozy and inviting pattern features five illustrated lattes topped with latte art techniques including the rosetta, heart, and etching.
