Concept

These shoes were painted in memory of the client’s lost loved ones. The design features the names of those he has lost, and is done in a suicide awareness color scheme. The intention behind the design is to increase suicide awareness and inspire conversation around mental health. The hope is that those who see the shoes will be encouraged to ask about their significance and start meaningful discussions on the topic of mental health.

Description

A pair of painted shoes. The inside panels contain the suicide hotline, and the outside panels contain song lyrics, a date, and a wing rendered in a neon-light style.
